A post-research of “Murderer on a White Horse” footage and methods for accessing memory and reflection on memory with a young woman who is haunted by her past in the public eye.

As a teenager, Mariann had a long-standing relationship with notorious Danish murderer Peter Lundin. He had killed his mother, a girlfriend and her two young sons before being sentenced to life in prison from where he took up a romantic correspondence with Mariann. It began when she was 14, was found out and brought to an end when she was 17. But when she moved to Copenhagen with her boyfriend Brandur to study, she decided to go and meet Peter Lundin in prison.
